Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Pithies (the “Service”), which is operated by Pithies LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company, 971 US Highway 202N, Ste N, Branchburg, NJ 08876 (“we” or “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Questions: support@pithies.io.

The Service

Pithies tracks the products and competitors you choose and sends you a short weekly digest and price-drop alerts about changes in prices, stock and ranks. It currently covers Amazon. We may add, change or remove features and marketplaces over time.

Early access and accounts

New accounts are approved by hand while the Service is in early access. Until an account is approved, you can sign in and add products, but digests and alerts are not sent. You must be at least 18 and use the Service for business purposes. Give us accurate information, keep your password secure, and tell us if you think your account has been misused. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Information, not advice

• The data comes from third-party sources and is collected on a schedule, so it can be delayed, incomplete or wrong.
• Digest text is written with the help of an AI model. It can contain mistakes, so check anything important against the marketplace itself.
• The Service reports facts about prices and ranks. It does not give business, pricing, legal, tax or financial advice, and you decide how to act on it.
• We do not guarantee that every price change will be caught or that an alert or email will arrive on time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, resell, redistribute or publish the data or digests we provide, other than for your own business use;
• scrape or bulk-download the Service, or use it to build a competing data product;
• interfere with the Service, probe it for weaknesses, or try to access another user’s account or data;
• use the Service for anything unlawful, or in a way that breaks a marketplace’s rules.

We may limit, suspend or end access if we believe these terms are being broken or the Service is being misused.

Your data

You keep ownership of the product details you enter. You give us permission to store and process them to run the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account in Settings at any time.

Third-party names

Pithies is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Amazon, Keepa or any other marketplace or data provider. Their names are used only to describe what the Service covers, and belong to their owners.

Fees

Early access is currently free. If we introduce paid plans, we will show the price and billing terms before you are charged, and you will be able to cancel.

Ending your use

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end the Service or your account, with notice where reasonable. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as the disclaimers and limits below, continue after your account ends.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including about accuracy, availability, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Pithies is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, sales or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing. Some places do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above, and for significant changes we will tell account holders by email. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
